Salt – Sodium

Milk contains a high level of bioavailable hormones that are not easily absorbed. As a result, the glands in your body can be overstimulated and result in blemishes. This can easily be one of the worst foods for your skin.

Luckily, thanks to the growing popularity of alternative “milks,” you can find a wide variety of delicious alternatives. Almond Milk, Oat Milk, and Soy Milk are popular and nutritious alternatives to cow milk.

High-Glycemic Starches

We love carbs! But sometimes, too much of a good thing can cause issues with your body and as a result your skin. High-Glycemic starches that can be found in pasta and bread also cause acne. It’s best to approach these foods in moderation.

Alcohol

Finally, if you enjoy your wines and spirits, you may be battling the final boss for perfect skin. Alcohol causes 2 issues. First, alcohol is high in sugar, especially if it is accompanied with a soda or juice. This sugar can cause acne and blemishes as well. Furthermore, alcohol dehydrates you which removes water from your body and from your skin.
